These amazing parents remind me of this quote. Their home is filled with love, laughter, giving hearts and a wonderful place where three sweet boys have the room to grow, seek and dream as high as they can imagine. They are so genuine and compassionate and would do anything to help family and friends...even a stranger. They have hearts of gold and they are role models to all us parents out there. Their love for each other and their boys is enduring and their bond unbreakable. I am so lucky to have met them by chance three years ago and to have developed such a special friendship that I will always treasure! ; )

Embracing Family {ny li family and child photographer}

I first met these handsome boys and their beautiful mom this summer. I was so excited to be able to meet up with them again this past weekend, this time I had the honor of meeting dad too! One of my favorite things about meeting with my clients and their families is watching them embrace each other in ways that are so familiar to them but I find so unique and special. To see a child curl up and take a moment to rest his head on mom's lap or to watch their eyes light up as dad gets so excited to check out a mouse with his boys...it never stops amazing me to see all the beauty and love in each different relationship...and how powerful it is even in the smallest of moments.

Thank you for another wonderful session. I had so much fun with your family! I wish the boys the best in their soccer and football season...they are amazing! You both should feel so proud. Your boys are blessed to have the both of you! Enjoy a few pictures for now and if there is anything I can do in the meantime please know I am here.

My Best Friend...Thank you for being you!

This past weekend I attended the most amazing photography workshop held by MeRa Koh Photography. An inspirational husband and wife team that not only challenged me but also moved me and renewed my spirit. There really are no words to thank them for all they showed me about my own photography, but for also gently pushing me to dive deep within my own soul at the same time.

I could not think of any other way to make this experience any better then to be able to share it with one of the most inspirational woman in my life. I was able to ask a few friends to be "models" for 16 of us woman to practice what we learned over the weekend. The family below is one I hold so close in my heart. My best friend , her husband and one of my beautiful God daughters.

Jen, you know are my best friend and so much more. I can not even begin to thank you for all you have done for me, shown me and helped me through. You are gorgeous from the inside out and you inspire me to do better every day. I would not be where I am today with out you... Thank you for helping me exhale this weekend. HUGS

Sweet Beginings {ny, long island maternity photographer}

I am so excited for this sweet couple! They are about to begin an amazing journey. Photographing them brought back so many wonderful memories for me and I can not stop smiling just to think of all they are about to feel, see, know... The day my own children were born is a day I would love to relive all over again. If time travel is ever invented it is definitely on my list of days to go back to. ; ) There are no words to describe what it is like to become a parent for the first time. You have to just feel it, soak it all in and cherish it forever.

Such a sweet gift and a blessing to be able to go through childhood together. One day they will look back on all their adventures, their hugs, maybe a few silly fights, a lot of laughs and they will always have a piece of their childhood with them in those memories! To be able to hold onto such a special relationship so close in your heart is priceless. Miss B and little Miss O you are gorgeous and I loved every minute of our time together at the beach!
